September 6, 2018
The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau
Prime Minister of Canada
House of Commons
With one year remaining in your government’s mandate, we write to raise the growing concerns of the people of Saskatoon West who have been left behind. These prominent concerns with wide-reaching implications have been articulated to your government previously, yet they remain unresolved.
We write not to expose your government’s inaction on matters of great importance, but to urge collaboration so that we can help make Canadians’ lives better during the final year of the 42nd Parliament. It is not too late to seize the opportunity to make a real difference, and to bring forward a legislative agenda that will substantially improve government services, and, by extension, the health and well-being of those living in Saskatoon West, and beyond.

We hope that this letter will help guide your legislative agenda in the year ahead and we look forward to working with you and your cabinet on these growing needs to better serve Canadians. We would welcome a face-to-face meeting to discuss any of the above priorities, at your convenience.
Sheri Benson, MP Saskatoon West
Jagmeet Singh, Leader Canada’s New Democratic Party
